I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a lovely airy room with ample storage and a big window that let in natural light. Breakfast was a delightful buffet with options like a Full Scottish, homemade raspberry jam, and delicious banana bread that left me wanting more each morning. The location provided stunning views of the river on my walk into town, just a quick 15-minute stroll away.

I absolutely loved my stay at Auld Manse. The hosts, Rob and Glenda, created such a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. My room was spotlessly clean, featuring a comfortable double bed, tea and coffee facilities, and an efficient shower in the ensuite. Breakfast options were fantastic, with a delicious full Scottish fry-up and fresh homemade jam every morning. The location is quite convenient too. just a short walk to the city centre. I did notice quite a bit of noise from the main road outside during the night, which made it tough to get a good night’s sleep. the bathroom is a bit cramped, lacking enough space for toiletries, which could use some improvement. I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it as a cozy place to stay.

The bathrooms, while functional, feel cramped, lacking shelf space for toiletries, which is a bit annoying when you’re trying to keep everything organized.
